Once your child’s photos have been added to the Younger Models GmbH database and their physical characteristics, contact information, address, and phone number have been recorded, your child may be considered for modeling opportunities through Younger Models GmbH.

Younger Models GmbH acts as an intermediary between clients and models. A booking constitutes an agreement between the client and the model and may include photo and/or video shoots as well as occasional fitting sessions.

In line with our philosophy, Younger Models GmbH operates primarily as an exclusive agency. This means that your child should only accept bookings arranged through Younger Models GmbH. We therefore do not support simultaneous registration with multiple agencies within Berlin or the independent acceptance of external bookings within Berlin. We therefore ask that you choose one agency in such cases.

For a new registration in our database and the creation of your profile card (sedcard), a one-time registration fee of €60.00 incl. VAT applies.

Each additional sedcard update will be charged at €30.00 incl. VAT.

The term "in option" means that we will send you a request with as much information as possible about the job and the potential shoot date. If your child is available on that date, we will pass this information on to the client, and your child will be placed on hold.

This means that the client intends to book your child and wants to ensure that your child is available on the specified date. As soon as an option is converted into a binding booking, Younger Models GmbH will notify you as soon as possible.

It may happen that an option ultimately does not lead to a booking. This is also part of the industry process.

Requests can sometimes be made as far as four weeks in advance, but occasionally they come at very short notice—for example, for the next day or a few days later.

For larger casting calls, a so-called “shortlist” is published before the final decision is made. At this stage, the client will ask you to reconfirm the option period as well as the previously stated terms and conditions. From this point on, it would be necessary to arrange filming permission for the child, as a booking is likely.

The regulations for applying for a work permit vary by federal state.

Therefore, the regulations of the federal state where the photo shoot or assignment takes place always apply to your child.

In order for your child to participate in a photo shoot or advertising production in Berlin, a filming permit is required, which must be renewed at regular intervals.

Important: Applying for any necessary filming or work permits is generally the responsibility of the client.

The working hours for children in Germany are legally regulated as follows:

• Children aged 3 and older: maximum 2 hours of working time and maximum 3 hours of presence on set

• Children aged 6 and older: maximum 3 hours of working time and maximum 5 hours of presence on set

As soon as your child’s booking has been confirmed, you will receive an email from us with the following information:

• which product or theme is being promoted

• the location, date, and time of the booking

• the estimated duration of the shoot (3–5 hours maximum)

• the agreed-upon compensation

• whether travel expenses will be reimbursed

• what clothing or accessories, if any, should be brought along

We request that only one accompanying person (one parent/guardian) attends the studio or location.

Please arrive at the location approximately 10 minutes before the scheduled call time. However, please do not arrive significantly earlier than requested. If you realize that you will be delayed, please inform us immediately.

At the set, schedules may change or be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. If you feel that the legally permitted working hours may be exceeded, please contact us immediately.

A job is only considered completed (“wrap”) once the production team has officially confirmed that filming has finished.

Financial matters, especially fees, payments, or any other compensation, must never be discussed with clients or other models on set.

If a photographer or member of the production team approaches you or your child directly and asks you, for example, to sign a model release or any other declaration, please contact Younger Models GmbH immediately.

For productions involving children, it may happen that several children are invited as potential alternatives or backups, while ultimately only one child is selected for the final shoot. This is done to protect the client’s interests. If we are informed of this in advance, we will of course let you know accordingly.

Please also never provide your private address or phone number to clients. Instead, always refer them to the official contact details of Younger Models GmbH.

We place great importance on transparency regarding compensation. If you have any questions about fees or payments, please contact us at any time to avoid any misunderstandings.

Fees are typically paid 2 to 3 months after the shoot, provided the client has settled the corresponding invoice.

If a photoshoot or production takes place outside of Berlin, travel expenses may be covered by the client, subject to the client’s prior approval.

To ensure we can bill the client correctly, please provide us with the following information after the shoot:

• the number of kilometers driven (round trip)

• any parking fees incurred, including a receipt or screenshot from the parking or payment app

Please note that no reimbursement is possible without a receipt.

In some cases, other expenses, such as meals or hotel accommodations, may also be covered. Whether this applies will always be specified before the shoot.

Younger Models GmbH will invoice the client for the agreed-upon fee as well as any travel expenses incurred. Since Younger Models GmbH acts exclusively as an agent, there is no obligation to pay the fee if the client fails to settle the invoice.

If the client wishes to acquire additional rights of use for the produced material, an additional fee will be agreed upon. This is referred to as a buyout. This payment is often made at a later date, as it must first be determined how and where the material will be used.

We always appreciate receiving brief feedback on how the project went. Close communication with our clients— as well as with you as parents — helps us maintain high production standards and ensure that everyone involved is satisfied.

Clients select models based on photos and size information. That is why it is very important that your child’s information is always up to date.

Every three to six months, we ask you to update your child’s current clothing sizes. If there are any changes, please let us know immediately. These include, for example:

• new hairstyles or haircuts

• braces

• dyed, curled, or straightened hair

Please report such changes by email whenever possible and, ideally, include current photos.

For toddlers, we ask that you send updated photos by email at least three times a year. Please send:

• at least 4 head-and-shoulders photos

• 1 full-body photo

• the child’s name and current measurements

Please let us know if you are on vacation or will be unavailable for an extended period of time. This also applies in the event of a long-term illness.

Of course, unforeseen situations can arise. However, please keep in mind that many people are involved in a production and that it requires a significant amount of organizational and financial effort.

A confirmed booking cannot be cancelled without a valid reason. If a model is unable to attend due to illness or another important reason, Younger Models GmbH must be informed immediately by email. Any potential liability or contribution towards costs will be determined in accordance with the contractual agreements between the model, the agency, and the client.

By registering your child with Younger Models GmbH, you agree to our Terms and Conditions. In addition, an individual contract is signed with Younger Models GmbH for each model.
