Once your child’s photos have been added to the Younger Models GmbH model database and the necessary information—such as physical characteristics, contact information, address, and phone number—has been recorded, your child may be approached and placed for suitable modeling assignments through Younger Models GmbH.

Younger Models GmbH acts as an intermediary between clients and models. A job arranged through the agency establishes a contractual relationship between the client and the model and may include, for example, photo and/or video productions as well as fittings, if applicable.

In the context of our collaboration, Younger Models GmbH operates as an exclusive agency. This means that your child should, as a general rule, only accept bookings arranged through Younger Models GmbH. We therefore do not support simultaneous registration with multiple agencies in Berlin or the independent acceptance of external modeling assignments in Berlin. We therefore ask that you choose one agency and handle all booking requests in Berlin exclusively through that agency.

There is a registration fee of €60.00 (including VAT) for adding your child to our model database and creating a comp card. We charge €30.00 (including VAT) for each additional comp card update.

An “option” means that we’ll send you a request with as much information as possible about the planned role and the potential filming date. If your child is available on the specified date, we’ll pass this information on to the client, and your child will be tentatively considered for the role—with no obligation on your part.

By placing an option, the client indicates that they are generally considering your child for the production and first want to ensure that your child is available on the specified date. An option is therefore not yet a binding booking. As soon as the client converts the option into a binding booking, Younger Models GmbH will inform you as soon as possible.

It may happen that an option ultimately does not lead to a booking. This is a completely normal and industry-standard part of the booking process.

Requests may sometimes be made several weeks in advance, but occasionally we also receive booking requests on very short notice—for example, for the next day or just a few days before a shoot begins.

For larger castings, a so-called “shortlist” is often created before the final decision is made. If your child is on the shortlist, the client will usually ask you to reconfirm the option period and the terms and conditions mentioned above. Since a booking is more likely at this point, you may need to obtain a filming permit for your child starting at this time.

The regulations for applying for a work permit vary by federal state in Germany.

Therefore, the regulations of the federal state in which the photo shoot or assignment takes place always apply to your child.

In order for your child to participate in a photo shoot or advertising production in Berlin, a filming permit is required, which must be renewed at regular intervals.

Important: The client is generally responsible for applying for all necessary filming or work permits.

Working hours for children in Germany are legally defined as follows:

• Children aged 3 and older: max. 2 hours of work and max. 3 hours on set

• Children aged 6 and older: max. 3 hours of work and max. 5 hours on set

As soon as a booking has been finalized, we’ll send you all the necessary information about the job again:

• the name of the client or the product—if not already known

• the location, exact time, and your contact person on set

• the agreed-upon fee and the usage rights upon publication of the material

• Instructions regarding outfits, if these are not provided by the client’s styling team

Please note the following guidelines to ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible on set for everyone involved:

• Accompanying Adult: As a general rule, please come to the studio or filming location with only one accompanying adult (a parent).

• Arrival: Please arrive at the filming location about 10 minutes before the specified call time. Please do not arrive at the set significantly earlier. If you are running late, please let us know immediately.

• Schedule and Working Hours: Due to unforeseeable circumstances, changes or delays in the schedule may occur at any time on set. If you have the impression that the legally permitted working or attendance time might be exceeded, please contact us immediately.

• Fees and Payments: Please never discuss financial matters—especially fees or other payments—with clients or other models on set.

• Signatures and Releases: If a photographer or production staff member approaches you or your child directly and asks you, for example, to sign a model release or other statement, please contact Younger Models GmbH immediately. Please do not sign such documents without consulting us first.

• Multiple Children on Set: In productions involving children, it may happen that several children are invited—for example, as stand-ins or backups. Ultimately, only one of the invited children may be used for the final shoot. This is done to safeguard the production and the client’s interests. If we are aware of this in advance, we will, of course, inform you accordingly.

• Personal Contact Information: Please never give clients your personal address or phone number. Instead, always direct clients with questions or concerns to Younger Models GmbH and our contact information.

We place great importance on transparent and clear handling of compensation. If you have any questions about fees, invoices, or payments, please feel free to contact us at any time. This helps prevent any ambiguities or misunderstandings early on.

Compensation for a modeling assignment typically consists of a daily rate and usage rights, known as buyouts.

Payment of the fee is usually made within 2 to 3 months after the shoot, provided that the client has paid the corresponding invoice in full.

If the client wishes to acquire additional usage rights for the image or video material created during production, additional compensation will be agreed upon. This additional compensation is referred to as a “buyout.”

Payment of the buyout may be made at a later date, as it must first be clarified how, where, and for what period the resulting material is to be used.

If a photo shoot or film shoot takes place outside of Berlin, the travel expenses may be covered by the client, subject to the client’s approval.

To ensure that we can bill the client correctly, please provide us with the following information after the shoot:

• the number of kilometers traveled (round trip)

• any parking fees incurred, including a receipt or a screenshot from the parking or payment app

Please note that no reimbursement is possible without a receipt.

In some cases, other expenses, such as meals or hotel accommodations, may also be covered. Whether this applies is always determined before the shoot.

Younger Models GmbH will invoice the client for the agreed-upon fee as well as any travel expenses incurred. Since Younger Models GmbH acts exclusively as an agent, there is no obligation to pay the fee should the client fail to settle the invoice.

We would appreciate it if, after making a booking, you could take a moment to let us know how the project went. Your feedback is very valuable to us and helps us continuously improve our collaboration.

Open and reliable communication with our clients and with you as parents is particularly important to us. This allows us to work together to ensure that everything runs smoothly and that everyone involved feels well taken care of.

Our customers select models based on photos and current size and measurement information, among other factors. Therefore, it is especially important that your child’s information is always up to date.

Please update your child’s current clothing sizes and measurements regularly, ideally every three to six months. Even between updates, we ask that you notify us promptly of any important changes. These include, for example:

• new hairstyles or haircuts

• new braces

• other visible changes that could be relevant for a booking

Please inform us of such changes by email whenever possible and, if possible, include current photos.

For toddlers, we ask that you send us current photos via email at least three times a year. Please send us the following:

• at least 4 head-and-shoulders photos

• 1 current full-body photo

• your child’s name, as well as their current sizes and measurement

Please let us know if you are on vacation or will be unavailable for an extended period of time.

Of course, unforeseen situations can always arise. Nevertheless, we ask that you keep in mind that many people are involved in a production and that it requires a significant amount of organizational and financial effort.

A binding, confirmed booking should therefore only be canceled for an important and justifiable reason. If your child is unable to participate in a confirmed production due to illness or another important reason, please notify Younger Models GmbH immediately by email. Whether and to what extent liability or cost-sharing applies depends on the respective contractual agreements between the model, the agency, and the client.
